Most of the homes in Hunters Glen were built in the mid 1980's to the late 1990's. There are also some townhomes and apartments available in the neighborhood. The home sizes are mostly between 1,800 and 2,400 square feet on the main levels. Many of the current homeowners have finished or partially finished their basements and updated their homes.

The community is well thought of and has a community pool, one of the few neighborhoods that does. HOA fees are reasonable and the association seems to be fairly well run.
The local elementary school is the Hunters Glen Elementary School and is part of the Adams 12 school district.  The Hunters Glen neighborhood is comprised of Townhomes that surround Hunters Glen Lake and the park and then the single family houses are a little more separated on the various curving streets of the community.  Additionally, many of the homes in Hunters Glen back to the golf course that is intertwined within the neighborhood. 

Like many other North Thornton neighborhoods, quick access to I-25 is available from 120th or 136th Avenue, and Hunters Glen homeowners also benefit from from the new shopping development along 136th and 144th Avenues.
